Just have to add that these pics were taken with my brand new Canon Rebel courtesy of my amazing hubby and darling son who got it for me for Christmas...I was in such shock when I opened the gift that I actually cried! LOL.

Mom Monday

You Know You're A Mom When....

- You spend your birthday at Sesame Street Live and wouldn't have had it any other way.

- You start to do a much needed task but put everything on hold as soon as a little guy climbs up in your lap for a snuggle.

- You get home exhausted for a long day out shopping to hear the last whistle for the Christmas train and you don't even think
twice about running your son down to make the train.

- You realize you have spent a little more than you expected on a little guy for Christmas this year :)

I Wear My Sunglasses...

...at dinner! This is how you wear them while eating dinner...

And this is how you wear them when you are having trouble seeing through the dark lenses but they are to awesome to take off :)


I must add that I got these glasses from a Pamper's Splashers box and Cole loves them! We have tried to buy him a "nice pair" but he loves these. :)

Happy Halloween Monkey!

So Cole is still telling people "Happy Halloween" when he leaves...lol. The new addition to this is "Monkey." I call Cole my little monkey because he is so active and loves to climb on me, etc. I often will ask him where my little monkey is and he will say, "Right here!" So cute...Well recently he has started saying, "Happy Halloween, Monkey!" and "Bye-Bye Monkey" to me when I put him to bed. I always say it back. Today though it went further. We left the lady who cuts his hair and I told Cole to say, "Thank you Jaime". He did (a big feat because for the longest time he would not say thank you when you asked, only when he was saying it on his own...lol). With that said, he also then said, "Happy Halloween Monkey! Bye bye Monkey!" Luckily Jaime is great with Cole (he only lets her cut is hair) and she just loves him so she didn't blink at all. I still quickly explained to her it was nothing personal, it is what he says lately :) We all got a good laugh.

Loving And...

Cole has been very "loving" lately. He hugs and kisses his stuffed animals and even has taken to putting a diaper on some and dressing them (he even tried to change me once if you remember!) Here is two stuffed animals we diapered and dressed. The one on the left was Cole's and he informed me the one on the right was mine. Mine needed a hat Cole informed me so he wouldn't be "brrr" his had a shirt and sweatshirt on so I suppose he didn't need a hat :) Cute and sweet and so loving huh?
Well then there is the next picture. After loving on them for a few moments and being so careful to diaper and dress them Cole then grabbed this blue bag and shoved his dog in and told me to do the same with my polar bear. Once in the bag, we left them there for the rest of the day without even checking on them. Hmmm....
